A systemic strobilurin fungicide for the control of Fusarium patch, Take-all patch, Brown patch, Leaf spot/Melting out, Rust diseases and Anthracnose. FOR USE ONLY AS AN HORTICULTURAL FUNGICIDE ON ESTABLISHED MANAGED AMENITY TURF AND AMENITY GRASSLAND

South Africa

Heritage Maxx provides powerful protection; targeting the pathogen at the very early stages of the of infection, eliminating disease before it has chance to cause damaging effects on the turf.

The easy-to-use Maxx liquid formulation gives faster uptake, longer lasting disease control and improved turf quality. For use on established managed amenity turf and amenity grassland.

Can be used for the control and prevention of a variety of turf grass disease like Fusarium patch, Take-all patch, Brown patch, Leaf spot/Melting out, Rust diseases (below) and Anthracnose.

• Gives long-lasting protection for 28 days
• Is a systemic fungicide belonging to the strobilurin group of active ingredients
• Has natural origins

Broad-spectrum protection
Heritage is a systemic fungicide with preventive and curative properties for control of some of the toughest turf diseases.

Grey Leaf Spot Red Thread

This unique strobilurin is absorbed into leaves and sheaths when applied and also moves from the soil into the roots. From there, it translocates up throughout the entire blade, providing control of turf diseases for up to 28 days.

Total root-to-leaf distribution
Azoxystrobin, the active ingredient (AI) in Heritage, is taken into turf blades quickly for protection upon application. However, a significant portion of Heritage remains on the leaf surface. Upon irrigation, rainfall, or even a heavy dew, this remaining AI is washed down the surface of the turf.
Some is then absorbed into the leaf, but the majority of Heritage moves into and through thatch to the soil. Here it is further absorbed by the roots to control soilborne diseases and continues up through the entire turfgrass plant for additional foliar protection.

Excellent mobility
Once in the plant, Heritage is highly systemic and transported through the xylem to cover all leaf tissue up to the tip of the leaf blades. It also moves translaminarily to cover the underside of the leaf. The active ingredient is constantly delivered upward for gradual, even distribution to new growth.

With exudation through the stomates and after each mowing, Heritage:
• Protects following mowing injury
• Can be secondarily recycled via irrigation back into the soil and roots
• Moves up into new growth

No-compromise control
Some strobilurins have little to no root uptake at all. Others may require more watering-in order or higher water volumes to be transported to the roots, which can sacrifice foliar control of diseases like brown patch, yellow patch, anthracnose, and leaf spot. Studies show that Heritage fungicide’s degree of root uptake exceeds that of other strobilurins—like Disarm, Insignia, and Compass®—without compromising efficacy against foliar diseases.

Preventive anti-sporulant activity
Heritage delivers control at every stage of a pathogen’s life cycle. This highly potent spore germination inhibitor prevents many fungal diseases before they occur and is also active after infection. To prevent infections, applications should be made well before visible disease symptoms occur.

Tank mixing

See Art of Application: tank mixing sequence

Add the required amount of product directly to the spray tank and mix well. HERITAGE MAXX is a micro emulsion concentrate (MEC) with minimal odour as the product does not contain petroleum solvents. HERITAGE MAXX mixes completely with water and may be tank mixed with many commonly used fungicides and liquid fertilisers.

Tank mix preparation

Consult and comply with the recommendations of the partner products. Each product should be added separately to the bulk of the water in the spray tank and thoroughly mixed before adding the next chemical.

Ensure sprayer is clean and set to give the correct volume and an even deposit.

Products should be added to the spray tank in the following sequence as applicable: the recommended rate of HERITAGE MAXX, other WG formulations, dry flowable formulations, wettable powder formulations and flowable formulations.

The following procedure should be followed: Pour the recom-mended portions of the products into a suitable container with water and mix thoroughly. Allow to stand for at least 20 minutes. If the mixture remains in suspension or can be re-mixed readily, the mixture could be considered to be physi-cally compatible.

Implementation particular terms

Heritage Maxx fungicide may be applied with all spray equipment commonly used for making ground applications. Do not apply through ULV sprayers

Mixing and spraying

Half fill spray tank with clean water and begin agitation. Add the required quantity of Heritage Maxx and complete filling. Continue agitation until spraying is completed.
